I had to clipper off the entire belly area of my Golden Retriever as he came home covered in dreadlocks with irritated skin - quite unimpressed. This has never happened at home, and he's only brushed and bathed once a week. He was with you for ten days, which included a bath. Worth reading their conditions, because if you want your pet back in the same condition you dropped them off in, you have to pay more. Please note: Samford Pet Resort is not responsible for your pet’s coat while they’re staying with us. This includes matting, knotting, smell, etc.

Buddy, our 10 month old Maltipoo loved his 5 day, 4 night stay at Pet Resorts Australia Samford! He said he loved the cuddles with his dog nannies and play time with all his new friends! Buddy will definitely go back for a doggy holiday at Pet Resorts Samford the next time his humans go away without him! It was easy to book him in, the staff were so lovely when I dropped him off being the first time we had gone away without him and the staff gave us a full debrief when we picked him up on how his days were while he was with them, we definitely recommend Pet Resorts Samford if you need a caring, professional and fun place for your dog to stay in Brisbane.

Pet Resorts Samford took great care of my cat Serena while I was away for a vacation overseas. The post cards I was given (photos and updates) were adorable and really put my mind at ease, I could see she was comfortable and enjoying her time. We've been home for a week and she's still herself, same temperament and behaviours which reassure me that she was fine - completely recommend Pet Resorts Samford to take care of your furbaby when the need arises. My dog needed a visit to the vet after two nights at Samford Pet Resort. Please be warned that they will neglect your dog if they think they can get away with it. Giving one star because zero isn’t an option. I boarded my 8 year old dog with Samford Pet Resort for two nights in November 2023. When we picked her up she smelled *extremely* bad. I could tell that she had been drenched wet at some stage by the state of her coat. She constantly scratched and bit at her skin, pulling out patches of fur. I gave her a bath the next day to ease the smell. It only helped minimally. My dog was very depressed also. Call to Samford Pet Resort and they denied that she had been allowed to get drenched in the rain and that her skin issues were not related to being left wet. I took my dog to the vet and he said that my dog was developing hot spots as a result of having been left in a wet state for a long period of time. Her skin issues are continuing. I called resort again and spoke to the manager who admitted that dogs go out for toilet breaks in the rain. She said that if I had agreed to her being bathed she would have been dried off! So their neglect of my dog resulting in a vet visit was my fault! My dog is a senior and the resort staff said she could have her bed for comfort during her stay. However the memory foam bed was totally dry and did not smell at all (although my dog did), indicating that she did not have her bed. Samford pet resort neglected the physical wellbeing of my dog resulting in a vet visit. She was also depressed.They then blamed me for their neglect. They don’t care about your dog, they just want your money. I don’t post bad reviews as a rule but I felt it incumbent upon me to warn others. I wish someone had warned me.

As a very over protective puppy mummy, I was very anxious about having to leave our 3 big babies; so we could get married overseas. They had never been away from home or looked after by "strangers". We began with some doggy daycare, then built up to a few over night stays, just to get them adjusted. And then they had a 1 month stay in September. We can't thank Samford Pet Resorts enough for all their love and care, for all our babies🐶🐶🐶 knowing that they were safe, cared for, given playtimes and their weights monitored regularly, kept us at ease! Their behaviour when returning from here does not change, and they still remain happy and have nil issues with eating 😊 we now know that we can say yes to going places, and our babies will be cared for! Absolutely five stars, I can highly recommend Pet Resorts Australia Samford. It was such an awesome experience for our Italian Greyhound who is a total apartment dog, super shy and refuses to walk outside. Tia came home confident, happy and yesterday we were able to walk her on a lead (there were still protests) but her confidence is the biggest thing I noticed. The pet nannies are just the best, the post card and report will melt your heart. I would recommend a few days every now and then, even if you aren't going away!!
